The club's photos are split into juniors', senior's match photos, team photos, news photos & social photos.
Although the club would prefer to not differentiate between seniors' & juniors' it is easier to manage the photos if there is a delineation between them. It is also at times difficult to split social photos from match photos from news photos; marriages & funerals are of the same type, but the latter is hardly a social occasion, although a wake is as social occasion of sorts. A 'friendly' match is as much a social event as one concerned with the match itself. So, there's some subjective assessment as to what goes where.
Some photos are large enough to get good prints from. Others were never supplied large enough to get other than a postcard print from.
Each photo page in the album here has a thumbnail, on the left, an intermediate print in the main frame and a link found at the bottom right that will allow you to download the original large image - the link being "full size image". If you click on that link you will get a larger image displaying on your computer. If you right click on the link "full size image" and select "save target as" you can download the image file to your computer.
In some cases, such as team photos, there are even larger photos that aren't loaded onto the website, but can be provided on request.
Most of the photos are now in the album - at the end of 2008 there were approximately 3,200 photos and it became impossible to manage them, or find one - other stray ones will get added in over time. The news pages will still display some photos, but these should be linked back to the album.
A lot of photos lack a 'legend' - who is the subject of the photo - either because it's too obvious who it is or I haven't gotten around to adding one or I haven't the faintest idea who it is, so please, if you're concerned about it, send me an email and I'll add some text to the photo...
If a photo is to be taken for publication either elsewhere on the internet, or as has happened a few times now, in book-form - that ios, for commercial use - please be kind enough to let me know. This doesn't include facebook use, so if you want to use it for that or personal use, just do it, which is what I'd expect.
It will be helpful for photographs being sent in to be given a prefix of the photographer's initials as it makes it easier to track down a larger version, if there is one, if someone is after a better copy or if someone wants to use an image commercially.
